The problem

Knowing you were mentioned is not something you can act on. You need to know why: which sources the engine trusted enough to pull from.

Most tools show a flat list of links. A flat list cannot tell you whether your next move is a landing page, a Reddit thread, or a placement in someone else’s listicle. Those are three completely different jobs.

How it works

Citations are extracted from every captured answer Whenever an engine cites a source, we record the URL against the prompt, the engine, the country and the date.

Each source is classified by channel Owned is your own domain. Community is where a community contributes, such as Reddit, Quora, forums and review sites. Third-party is editorial and publisher domains you earn through outreach.

Register the assets you care about Add your own pages, YouTube videos or Reddit threads in My AEO Assets and track them explicitly, rather than waiting to notice them in a list.

Export and act Every view exports to CSV, so the list can go straight to whoever writes the content or runs the outreach.

What is the difference between Owned, Community and Third-party? Owned is your own domain. Community is anywhere a community contributes, such as Reddit, Quora, forums and review sites. Third-party is editorial or publisher domains you earn through outreach. Each needs a different tactic, which is why we separate them.

Do you track Reddit specifically? Yes. Reddit gets its own view, because it is cited heavily by AI engines and behaves nothing like a publisher placement.

Can I track a page that has never been cited? Yes. Add it in My AEO Assets and it is tracked from then on, so you can see the moment it starts being picked up.

Can I get the data out? Every citation view exports to CSV.
